Melanie Bailey has always had a passion for the Arts. From a young age Melanie discovered that she had a talent for drawing and painting. She developed her skills by studying Studio Art and Art History at the University of Guelph Ontario, Canada.

Melanie is a qualified Visual Arts teacher, having taught elementary school in Guelph. In 2006, she began showing and selling her artwork. Her paintings can be found in public and private collections as well as at various children's stores throughout Canada. Melanie now resides in Kanata, Ontario and has recently opened a home studio.

Last fall, the "Funky Farm" series was featured in a nursery makeover on The Mom Show.
